ICL Innovation seeks a cost effective technology to improve the compatibility of brominated flame retardants (BFR), with non polar matrices.<\/p>\n
Background<\/p>\n
Some non polar matrices develop blooming effects and undesired release of the BFR to the environment. As a leader in BFRs, ICL Industrial Products seeks technologies to mitigate the problem. Encapsulation is one solution we’re examining, but other technologies may be considered. Special emphasis is placed on retaining the hosting polymer’s properties and on low cost, being a prerequisite in this market.<\/p>\n
